Hi, we’re Megan and Natasha, co-founders of ChaLuMu.
We’re two mums and lifelong friends from the UK who recognised that while tools for anxiety already existed, they often felt impractical, clinical or not something women would naturally reach for, so we set out to change that.
THE PROBLEM WITH ANXIETY....
Is that it doesn’t show up when it’s convenient.
It hits in the middle of your day. When you’re busy, overwhelmed, already juggling everything else.
Racing thoughts. Tight chest. That feeling you can’t switch off.
And in those moments, most solutions aren’t practical.

The Real Reason We Started ChaLuMu…
"What we came to understand is that Anxiety can take hold at any stage of life and when it does, it can have a profound impact on how you think, feel and function day to day."
Over the years, we both experienced domestic abuse, grief and significant health challenges, all of which left us dealing with severe anxiety.
While those experiences are deeply personal, they also highlighted something much broader, that anxiety isn’t limited to one type of person or one moment in life. For many women, it can be triggered by a single significant event or a combination of pressures over time, often building quietly before becoming overwhelming.

WHY DOES THIS MATTER SO MUCH TO US?
Because, we know how quickly it can take over, because we’ve lived it and we couldn't find anything that helped us, that we actually wanted to wear. So we made it ourselves.
THE IDEA
So the focus shifted to practicality.
Creating something that fits seamlessly into everyday life, something discreet, simple, and easy to use in the moment.
But just as importantly, it had to look good.
Because for something to be used consistently, it needs to feel natural to wear, not like a traditional anxiety aid, but like something you would genuinely choose to put on.

Partly because we genuinely love the creative side of it and partly because we know one style doesn’t suit everyone.
